  Went here for a family meal during our holiday. Food was absolutely lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent food and customer service. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend

  Unfortunately we went on a night when several large groups had booked a table, meaning that the staff seemed a bit rushed and as a small table of two we felt a bit overlooked. Our mains weren't up to the usual standard we get there as well: I ordered the burrito and it came out very dry and without the sour cream and guac (although these were provided upon request so we chalked it up to them being busy). Other than the small negatives, the food was reasonably priced (particularly with the BOGOF), the portions good and the atmosphere was nice despite it being busy. Based on previous experiences here, we'll definitely be going back, and won't let this dip affect our overall view of the place yet.

  We came here for food, the food was alright, we've had a better standard of food in other Marstons pubs and the wait between our starter and main was a bit long. When we had our mains brought out to us, our waiter (he had short dark hair) asked us if we wanted anything else, I asked for another drink and his actual words were 'I can't, I'm busy, I'll get someone else to', I just think that that's a poor choice of words and it comes across as not being very good service. No one actually came with another drink either and I had to ask another waiter (Max) who got me another drink with no problems and was very pleasant and helpful throughout the rest of our meal. To be honest, the whole experience was quite underwhelming and it's somewhere that I would go again if I was desperately hungry. However, apart from that, the other people who served us were nice and it was good value for money.

  Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant to eat, the food was pretty nice except for her gammon which was incredibly salty. We spoke to someone about it and they happily changed it to something else on the menu for free. Very happy overall.
